I got tagged yesterday by Christina at Christina's Pop Life. She's a wonderful and favorite blog friend! Go read her stuff, pronto! I’m supposed to share some random things about myself and then answer some questions. Here we go!
I'm a big dork for history museums. Seriously, I could get lost looking at dinosaur skeletons and the like for the rest of my life. I'm craving hitting up the new dinosaur exhibit the Natural Science Museum in Houston. Soon.
TV/Movies about the ocean make me fall asleep. I've fallen into a deep coma watching two different ocean-themed IMAX movies, several watery episodes of Planet Earth and even Finding Nemo (in the theater!). And its almost instantaneous. It's so, so weird. Even walking around an aquarium makes me nod off a bit. I think its because I had a fish tank in my room as a baby that I used as a night light. It's the weirdest thing.
1. What is your profession? Communications Consultant. It's rare treat that I'm actually using my Journalism degree to do real writing at age 26. #countingmyblessings
4. If you could be besties with one celebrity, who would it be? Who are we kidding here? BEYONCE. She's independent, fierce and mercilessly badass.
7. If you could have any special talent {that you don't currently have}, what would it be? Playing a musical instrument. I'm abysmal at music. I should have stayed in piano lessons like my mom told me too. Oops. Heck, this could be me:
9. If you could do anything, what is your dream job? Cliche, I know, but probably blogger. You'd never know it by my recent lack of posts, though... I'm working on it.
10. What is your guilty pleasure? Shitty television. Favorite? Toddlers and Tiaras:
(I'm so bad at thinking of random things...)
I'm terrified as crap of snakes. Like I can't even be in the room with one in a cage. I get tingles (not good ones) down my spine and my whole body get like red and weird. My psychologist mother claims its an evolutionary mental block dating back to the days when humans had to be afraid of them. Not a bad theory, but I think it's just because they're slimy and gross. They don't have legs. How can you trust a thing with no legs?
And the questions:
1. What is your profession? Communications Consultant. It's rare treat that I'm actually using my Journalism degree to do real writing at age 26. #countingmyblessings
2. How would you describe your style? Casual. Extremely casual. Jorts and TOMS are my current uniform.
3. What one make-up product can you not live without? Stila Waterpoof Eyeliner in Purple Tang:
I have bad eye allergies and the wateryness effs with my eye makeup bigtime. Not this little diddy though. Also, a deep purple color complements my light eyes without looking too streetwalkerish like black eyeliners do.
4. If you could be besties with one celebrity, who would it be? Who are we kidding here? BEYONCE. She's independent, fierce and mercilessly badass.
5. What is your dream vacation? Italy. Food, wine, scenery, history galore. What more could there be?
6. What magazines do you subscribe to? The only one I currently subscribe to is Texas Monthly. I'm kind of a big nerd for the food reviews and adventures in the mag...
7. If you could have any special talent {that you don't currently have}, what would it be? Playing a musical instrument. I'm abysmal at music. I should have stayed in piano lessons like my mom told me too. Oops. Heck, this could be me:
8. What is your favorite breakfast food? Any and all, but I'd probably have to go bagel and cream cheese. Simple, decadent (for me) and freaking delish. Luckly I don't have access to my favorite bagels...
...very close to me. I have to really want it to drive over to it.
9. If you could do anything, what is your dream job? Cliche, I know, but probably blogger. You'd never know it by my recent lack of posts, though... I'm working on it.
10. What is your guilty pleasure? Shitty television. Favorite? Toddlers and Tiaras:
...except honestly I'm not guilty in the least.
Welp, thanks a ton Christina, you're a real pal!

Love this! Thanks for doing it! I'm with you on museums, Toms and eyeliner! I have yet to watch any toddler beauty shows. I'm afraid I might like them! Hahah. I'm so glad you're like me and don't feel any shame!
