Ultimate Twilight Fan Link Up!

Two of my favorite bloggy buddies (Tara and Star) are co-hosting this fabulous little fun thing today. Sorry my last post was about Twilight, but it's premier week -- I'm allowed. Yay for it being this week!

Thanks to the mega fans behind this linkup, there are some faboo questions....

1. Are you going to see Breaking Dawn at the midnight release?

Nah, I'm a little anti midnight release. I'm going with a group of girls Sunday afternoon. I like to go in the daylight hours to avoid the mobs of squealing tweens. I really need my own space for squealing.

2. Scene you're most looking forward to in Breaking Dawn?

Honeymoon parts...

3. Team Edward or Jacob?

What is team Jacob? Do people really think that's like a thing?

4. Favorite book in the Saga?

I liked the original Twilight the best. There's so much tension and angst when Bella is figuring out what he is. I love the parts when he sneaks into her bedroom for cuddles. So dang dreamy. This part is also in the first movie...

Wayfarers on a man = insta-swoon

5. Favorite character in the series and why?

What the H kind of question is that? We all know my favorite fictional character and dream man is one Edward Cullen:

But, I do also like the good Doctor Carlisle Cullen, too. He's so sweet. He's the ring leader of the treaty-making, peace-loving, sexpot vampires. LOVE.

6. Why do you love Twilight?

I like all the fictiony fantasy parts -- the vampires and werewolves. I fell in love with them because I thought the tension, angst and suspense in the books was so expertly written. She somehow made very not real things seem like they exist. I know not everyone thinks Stephenie Meyer is a genius, but I really enjoyed her writing. My love of the movies was just a bonus, I was swooning over the mysterious Edward before RPatz was even in the mix.

7. Are the books or movies better?

Tough. Very tough. I'm going to go ahead and have to go with the books. I could not put them down. I read them before I saw any of the movies, so all the characters were in my imagination, which is one of my favorite things. I frequently decide to read books when I hear of a movie, but this time I did it right and LOVED it. Also, reading the Twilight series kind of got me back into reading. I hadn't been doing it much and they re-energized me for books.

But the movies are pretty good too, because we all know what a sweet eyeball feast RPatz is....

8. What do you dislike about the series?

I wish Bella had a little more backbone. She frustrates the S out of me. I feel like she's so needy/emotional. Sometimes I want to just tell her to stop whining. I've read things where people call her anti-feminist and bad influence on the confidence of young girls...and I get that. But mostly, she just annoys me. Let's face it, that's the voice of jealousy talking.

Like this...

Give me a break.

9. Your craziest fan moment.

I had an "I heart Edward" t-shirt made for the premier of eclipse. I ruined it in the laundry. PISSED. It was amazeballs:

Also, in the theater when I saw Eclipse, I released an audible squeal that embarrassed me. It just came out. I can't control it.

10. Do you have a Twilight collection?

I own all the books and movies. Does that count?

Thanks Tara and Star
