Target Tuesday: Halloween Costumes
What I decide to be for Halloween is usually a big, big decision for me. In the past, manfriend and I got into epic battles over the perfect costume for 2 that satisfied his need for comedy and my need for cuteness -- a very hard bargain to strike. But alas, this time I get total costume freedom.
I have a couple home-made, personalized front-running ideas that I'm not ready to discuss, but just for funsies I perused Target's offerings this morning to link up with Tara for Target Tuesday.
Now I have a thing with "lady costumes." I can't do too slutty. I hate when they take a classic character and add "diva" or "sexy" or "sassy" in front of it, or find some weird way to incorporate thigh-high socks/boots/stockings. Call me a prude, but I prefer the term "purist". These are the ones that catch my eye...

So, If I were to go with any of these ideas, what would be your vote? Or, got any great ideas you're willing to share with an internet friend who would technically be "copying" you, but nobody would have to know?

I love the Princess Peach costume haha. My husband wants to do Pac Man and the pink ghost for Halloween this year. Dressing up is so much fun no matter what you're age :)

ReplyDeleteOooh I like these! It's nice when they have FUN costumes for adults!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the slutty costume thing. My friends and I always felt the uglier/scarier, the better. One year my sister was a cavewoman, unibrow and all! I love Rainbow Bright!
