Target Tuesday - I'm gettin' ripped.

Today, I went to thebestplaceeveronearth Target during my lunch break and bought this:

I've gotten lots of recommendations that her DVDs are the BEST. So, I figured with all the time at home I've recently come into coupled with my need to get into a bridesmaid's dress like insanely soon.... What the heck, I can give anything a whirl for 30 days. Also, it's so hot outside I can barely function, let alone work out (It's a story for another time, but weirdly, this summer feels like 400% hotter than past years. I think this means I'm for real getting old. Boo.)

So, have you done this? Any tips? Is this a good idea? Is she so mean I'm going to cry? My first workout will be later this evening, so stand by for a recap.

Since I already partook in the Targ for today, I thought this would be a perfect little way to participate in Tara's Target Tuesday over at Fabulous but Evil. You should too!

  2. I have done a couple of her videos, but not this one yet (altho I own it), but I've done the 30 Day Shred (which I think is similar to the one you got) and it is crazy good! You WILL be sore tomorrow tho. But I recommend it 100%! You'll be amazed at where muscles pop up and abs start to show up! Hope it works out well for you!!

  6. Being obsessed with Jillian like I am, I obvi preordered this one last winter. It's by far the BEST- quick and intense workouts with 4 levels that are all a challenge.

  7. I just bought this one too. Did it for a day and quit for a week. I need to try again though!

    I've done 3 of her other dvds and they are great workouts! I'm just a lazy butt and never stay with them.

    My husband did the "No More Trouble Zones" dvd with me. He was knocking it and saying he didn't want to do no girly dvd workout. Boy was he wrong. He tried to do it with 10lb weights and had to go to 5lb weights. He was sweating like crazy and sore and LOVED the workout! :)

  9. HELL YEAH, GIRL! Too bad I'm preggo and this is probably not a good idea for me to start this. I guess yoga will be my workout until Baby O graces its presence, then I will be rocking the HECK out of something like this!!
