Hope for all us regular folk

Makeup Forever is launching a Spring ad campaign that is COMPLETELY UNRETOUCHED. Read more about the campaign, here. There is no Photoshop, no manipulation, no nothing! This is unheard of these days. Take a look:

I love this idea. I think it's a breakthrough in the fashion and beauty world. Good things do happen.

But, the crappy part of it: the model is FLAWLESS. Can't she just have one tiny little blemish? A single imperfection? There is a glimmer of hope for the rest of us imperfects, but now I guess the bar is just raised for models. Womp Womp.

I'm still going to treat this like a victory. Anyway, just thought I'd share this little tidbit. Hearts.

  1. Right? It's not a miracle makeup...you have to have good skin to begin with for it to look like that girl! But it's still cool and I'm super intrigued.

  2. I agree with the above commenter! I like the MUFE HD foundation... but not THAT much! I always end up combining it with something else (a more matte foundation) because it tends to make me a bit shiny after a few hours (and I am not too shiny to begin with). But that's a cool ad campaign, nonetheless.
