Seasons are real afterall
I'm here in Seattle and it's cold, and rainy, and cold. Or at least it is to me. But I don't care. I've decided there are a few things I REALLY have missed about wintertime:
Tweed. I'm wearing these today and am feeling very November....
Coats. I pulled my go-to peacoat out of the closet and forgot the cuddliness of a true overcoat. Therefore, obviously, I've browsed online and thing I need this:
Hot Drinks. At the conference I'm in there is a never ending supply of beverages. I've been partaking in hot tea, which I can only enjoy when it's cold. I've discovered this here in Seattle and it's freaking delicious:
(Side note: Yes, I had my first Gingerbread latte of the season this week. I don't want to steal the tea's thunder because we all know what a big deal that first Christmas Starbucks drink is.)
Not being hot. I'm not a sweaty individual, but I love the feeling of being the perfect temperature with my cardigan on and with m long hair on my neck. There are many times in Texas (like most of the year) when short sleeves and ponytail are an absolute necessity.
Fall Leaves. It's a rare treat for me. The Pacific Northwest is full of them. I knew this existed (Thanks to the photo genius of Blogfriend Betty), but it's breathtaking. I really wish the Prince was with me so we could stroll in the fabulousness.
I'm getting to enjoy the things that prior to this trip I'd dreamed of in my toasty little Texas abode. More, real, actual photos to come. No time for uploading in this autumny wonderland. That's all for now. Tah-Tah.

Choice Organic Teas' Northwest Blackberry. Heaven.

The weather in Seattle was gorgeous yesterday, though! A perfect Northwest Fall day, in my opinion. I was in town to see the Picasso exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip, Casey!
