I found my twin

Check this photo out:

The quality isn't excellent, so you can't get the full gist of this bizarreness, but I'm dressed EXACTLY the same as this person. (Go here for more photos from the same night.) Same shirt, including brand name and size. Button pinned on in the same place. Black coat. Cuffed dark skinny jeans. Grey tennis shoes.  It was kind of funny at first, then as I thought more about it I realized how awkward it is to be dressed EXACTLY the same as a man. Like so similar it was strange. I frequently wrestle with how I never end up dressing/looking/feeling very girly when I leave the house, but this is just too far. I want to go out and buy sparkly lip glosses, pink dresses and stupidly feminine high heels. Poor manfriend. I hope he still loves my little androgynous self.

This guy was a good sport about the photo op, but was a very weird dude. Icing on the cake.

  1. Keep your hair long. I've been mistaken for a teenage boy more than once in the past two weeks...

  2. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! This only happens on tv shows;) However, I like the outfit. Plaid is in. Lets just say that the dude is dressing a tad feminine or something

  3. bwaaaahahahaah- that's actually really funny. if i ever ran into my twin, i would be all over the photo opps too.

  4. Haha! That is awesome! So glad you caught this moment on camera! You soo should have done a who wore it better poll like in US Weekly!? I'd totally vote for you! ;)

  5. Ok, this is pretty funny. But I can see how it would also be very strange. :)

  6. That is pretty funny, but I know the feeling.

Do away with the heels and go straight for the money shot - jewellery. Get something good (real) and glamourous. Hoop earrings, a pinkie ring - it doesn't have to be expensive.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the comment! I"m sending you a big cuddly warm bearhug through the interwebs....
